Our story
ABOUT THE OWNER
Gabriel Promer grew up in Raleigh NC, learning basic carpentry skills from his grandfather in his formative years. Starting at age 13 Gabe would help his grandfathers remodeling business in the summers while in school. As he grew so did his passion for building. Once graduated from high school he set off into the workforce gaining experience in jobs such as crawlspace encapsulations, spray foam application, and framing carpentry. Although the work was tough he gained a vast knowledge of energy efficiency and efficient building techniques during this time. In 2016 Gabe moved to Asheville, NC. Here he framed new houses for a year until he found his calling in remodeling. Working for a small all in house remodeling company he was hands on with almost every aspect of construction. Through hard work and dedication he was promoted to superintendent. In 2022 he created WNC Carpentry LLC. In 2024 Gabriel obtained his NC General Contractors license.
